Leave the browser window open while you configure the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone/tablet. The ‘Configure mobile app’ screen will launch in a browser window. Select one of the options and select ‘Set up’. Use verification code: You will be sent a 6-digit code to your smartphone to enter on your device. Receive notification for verification: You will be prompted on your smartphone to approve or deny access. In the next screen you will have two options to connect your smartphone or tablet to La Trobe Multi-Factor Authentication.You will be prompted with a ‘More Information Required’ screen. Begin the log in process (enter your username and password).Ensure that you enable push notifications for the Microsoft Authenticator App. Download the Microsoft Authenticator App on your smartphone/tablet via Apple App store or Google Play store.
